Playoffs have Started...

Great work Last Week.

 

Louisville started off a little flat and may have been trying to do too much. There were several plays where the boys broke the Cincy defense and then ended with passes that we were just unable to reel in. This put them down 11 nil pretty quick. They straightened up their defense and finished off the half without letting the Hounds score again.

 

After the half time speech that probably went something like… “ Get your heads out of your Apples and start getting nasty against these Fellows”. I am paraphrasing, after all I was trying to read lips from 80 meters away. Louisville seemed much more composed at the kick off after Coach Jaycen’s calming words. They were going to ground and taking advantage of their good work at the rucks. They started to break it open and went on to score 33 unanswered points. A nice end to the regular season. Undefeated at 5-0.

 

Now, with all that being said. None of that means squat. From here on, it is you lose you’re out. Louisville won the right to host their first playoff match. They will take on the Cleveland Rovers this Saturday 10/29/11, 1:00pm at Cherokee Park. Hope to see you all out to cheer on the boys this week.
