Doesn't look like there has been much interest/activity in this group....I'm assuming its on some other forum (ie DIYdrones, RCgroups. etc). 

Well....Anyone in the New Orleans area interested in UAV, FPV, flying, Rover etc?

I am new to the hobby i live on the north shore and i am looking for someone interested in UAV's or drones both building and flying if there is anyone out there email me back.

I've met a few people interested in FPV, but not many into the autonomous side of things. I've built a couple of uavs (fixed wing and multi rotor) since I posted on this group and have learned alot. For starters check out diydrones.com. it has a really good group of people who are willing to help. I'm in the process of putting together a couple of tutorials with a theme of, "using UAVs to capture aerial imagery". I should be finish next week and I'll post then to my blog.  Data.dv-proj.com .
Also check out fpvlab.com ..like the name suggest it's more about FPV, but there are alot of overlap between the two....most people into UAVs tend to have a FPV set up too.
