Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) will be hosting a mix
between a LAN party and a movie night on Tuesday, 4/20/11. Since ACM
is the professional organization for computer science, we feel that it
is appropriate that we are the ones to show a movie (Tron Legacy) that
is based on computers, or rather, in a computer. Our goal for LAN
parties is to have free games that are NATIVE to Linux (meaning that
they were created on Linux). We want to show that Windows does not
have to be the major gaming operating system. As for this LAN party,
the game is native to Linux, Windows, and Mac... and the best part
is... it's free. The movie will be the new Tron Legacy. We plan on
watching it 2 times that night just in case people cannot make the
start of the first time.

We want people to come and watch the movie regardless if you plan on
playing the game.

Movie:
Tron Legacy
IMDb: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1104001/

Game:
Armagetron Advance (3D Light-cycle game)
website: http://www.armagetronad.net/

When:
Wednesday, April 20th (4/20/11) @ 6:30PM lasting until midnight

Where:
Bogard Hall 304 (BH 304)

What to bring (if you are planning to participate in the LAN):
1. Your computer. You can bring your bulky desktop if you want, but
the game can easily run on most laptops.
2. 25 feet of ethernet cable. If you cannot supply this, we do have
extra but we are limited to how many we can supply.

If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to contact me.

Hope to see you there,

Nathan Lapp, ACM Co-President
