Attached is an additional form for students who need to join US Chess for the first time or renew their membership. They may save on dues by taking advantage of the LCA’s voucher program which allows scholastic players to join or renew for $12. As with their entries, they may submit this info via email & either Venmo the $12 or include a note that they will pay when checking in for the tournament.

In response to some questions, yes, kids who are stronger players & want to enter both the Pro-Am & the MLK Scholastic can easily do so by playing the 3-Day schedule & requesting a bye for round 2 of the Pro-Am or, if they can’t play Friday evening, requesting byes for rounds 1 & 2 of the Pro-Am.
