Hello Ladies,

Excited to be looking at reading with you all again, and we have a new member!! Elaine Harsevoort has asked about joining our exclusive group and after some jumping and squealing Jackie and I agreed to have her. Welcome, Elaine.

September we will be reading The Bread Winner by Deborah Ellis. I was wondering if anyone wanted to bring their teenager with them since it's a teen book and the theme for the month is children's lit? I don't have one able to come, but does that idea appeal to anyone? I thought of it because when talking about the book at church we had a very enthusiastic response from a 14 year old who had read it.

We are meeting Thursday, September 24 at Courtenay's house : 47 Mansfield Dr. arrive between 7:30 - 8 for some social time and at 8 we get serious. 

Also, could everyone please come prepared with some titles for our next few months. 

October is Canadian

November is Banned Books

December is Christian
