Required Skills:
Strong experience with Perl (Object Oriented design)  Experience with specific modules such as IO, Sockets, Moose, Mojolicious or Python experience will also do.
Strong Unix background and full project life-cycle experience
Data extraction with Perl / Python using mySQL database or equivalent. Good experience with mySQL
Knowledge of TCP / IP network fundamentals and common applications such as SNMP, DHCP, SSH, DNS, LDAP
Networking knowledge / experience: Layer 2/3 switches, routers and Firewalls
Understanding of source control systems (Subversion / Git a plus)
Candidates will need to exhibit strong troubleshooting skills and ability to understand complex relationships between components of a multi-tiered and distributed network
Experience working in a dynamic, client-driven development environment
Ability to work well independently and within a team
Good verbal and written communications skills
Candidate should be flexible, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks
In a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Work in an environment of developers who use open-source development tools
