Position: Hadoop Consultant With AWS
Location: 2 in McLean and 2 in Richmond
Duration: 9 months Contract to hire

Experience with building and maintaining Big Data and Fast Data applications using Open source software like Spark and Kafka
- Experience with developing and deploying applications on Cloud, preferably on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Understanding of Object-Oriented and Functional programming concepts using languages like Java and Scala
- Experience with at least one NoSQL database, like MongoDB or Cassandra
- Understanding of Test Driven Development concepts and supportive tools like Cucumber
- Experience with Build tools like Hudson and Jenkins
- Familiarity with Configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef
- Familiarity with CI tools like Jenkins or Circle CI
- Familiarity with Application Container concepts using tools like Docker
- Familiarity with Version control tools, preferably Git and GitHub
