The following prices are estimates only and do not included any accessorial charges, including electrical, air, unloading or special handling. If you would like to have a lift installed at your location, please contact our customer service department.

Due to current DOT and insurance laws regarding the transport of hydraulic oils (DOT Section 1 - Hazardous Ingredients; DOT Section 2 - Fire and Explosion Hazards and DOT Section 3 - Health Hazards) the required hydraulic fluid is to be supplied by the end-user, only. BendPak lifts are designed to operate using standard 10-weight, non-foaming, non-detergent hydraulic oil or Dexron-III ATF fluid. This is available in virtually any automotive store.

Most residential or commercial foundations are strong enough to support BendPak lifts. However, it is important to adhere to concrete specifications. Failure to do so could cause lift failure resulting in personal injury or death.

A level floor is suggested for proper installation and level lifting. With proper shimming, small differences in floor slopes may be compensated for. If a floor is of questionable slope, consider a survey of the site and / or the possibility of pouring a new level concrete slab.

Be sure to check your floor for the possibility of it being a post tension slab. In this case, contact the building architect before drilling. Visually inspect the site where the lift is to be installed and verify the concrete is in good condition. If your concrete has cracks or other defects, please consult with a certified contractor before proceeding to install any BendPak lift.

Most lifts will require up to five gallons of Olympic AW-32 Hydraulic Oil. Hydraulic oil is considered an accessory, so it is not included with your purchase. If you want oil included with your order, please remember to make it part of your purchase. Hydraulic oil can be made part of your delivery, but only when delivered on our company truck. Oil is HAZMAT, requiring special permits to transport by LTL freight carrier. For this reason we do not offer oil for shipment with LTL shipments. AW-32 oil is readily available locally.

By offering installation services, our goal is to provide our customers with the best experience, value, and service possible. Additionally, many safety concerns can be avoided when trained professionals install such heavy equipment as car lifts. While every company needs to make a profit, including us, we purposely keep installation costs as low as possible to benefit our customers.

Conditions vary from site to site, which we will want to be prepared for before in advance of scheduling your installation. For these reasons we will ask customers desiring installation services to provide us with site details whenever there is any question about your approach or installation site.

Responsibility for establishing acceptable condition, and suitability of any floor for installation of a vehicle lift rests entirely on the purchaser or property owner. Safety and liability are serious concerns so please consider all possibilities before moving forward with your purchase and installation.

Safety must come first! If you have any reason to suspect the condition of your floor may be unacceptable, or unsuitable for the lift you wish to install, we strongly recommend considering a 4-post lift, or scissor lift, rather than a 2-post lift to improve safety.

Before installation you will be asked to sign a waiver attesting to the fact that you have confirmed the acceptable condition and suitability of your floor for the installation of a vehicle lift or shop equipment device, and that you take full responsibility for any failures, damages, losses, or injuries that may occur from the failure of your floor to provide a sound substrate for the installation of your lift or device.

Understandably planning, preparation, loading time, and travel can be time-consuming and costly. In addition to establishing the condition of the floor, the appropriate space available, including width, length, and height, for the installation of the lift should be seriously considered in advance of scheduling an installation.

OUR POLICY: In the event our installers arrive at the installation site only to find conditions unacceptable or unsuitable for any reason they deem to be valid, a minimum of one-half the pre-paid cost of installation services, plus travel costs, tax included, will be retained to cover these costs, with the remainder being credited to the customer.

Electrical work is NOT part of our installation services, nor is it available. Our installers do not do electrical work of any kind. Only licensed electricians should do electrical work. Improper or unlicensed electrical installations voids all warranties.

SPECIAL NOTE: Your lift will require final adjustment at the time of installation so you will want to have your electrical work in place, and completed before your scheduled installation date. ONLY LICENSED ELECTRICIANS AND HOMEOWNERS CAN DO ELECTRICAL WORK AND MAKE CONNECTIONS. If you plan to use an electrician, you will want to have your electrician scheduled to return to wire in the motor while our installers are still present so your new lift can be properly adjusted. If this cannot be arranged, our installers will want to explain how your lift can be adjusted yourself. However, when neither option is possible our installers may be forced to make a return call at your expense to make final adjustments to your equipment. Return service calls are pre-paid, billed at $100 min service call, $99 per hour per person for labor, plus transportation costs.

Existing concrete floors should be test drilled to verify minimum floor thickness and to confirm building drawings. A core sample should be obtained and tested to verify minimum floor compressive strength. When investigating floor properties, consult building drawings to verify proper floor reinforcement.

Note 4: The concrete outline dimensions and the reinforcing shown are for a foundation bed allowable bearing capacity of not less than 2,000 lb. / sq. ft. (1 ton per square foot). Many clays, and most all firm clay, hard clay, sand & clay mixes, dry sands, ​coarse dry sands, dry sand and silt mixes, sand and gravel mixes, and gravel type soils meet or exceed this allowable bearing capacity. If there is question regarding the foundation bed allowable bearing capacity, a soils testing engineer should be consulted. Situations where the allowable bearing capacity is lower than this value will require special attention.

These new concrete slabs do not account for second floor installations or installations in a ground floor with a basement beneath. For this case, the lift should not be installed without written authorization from the building architect.
