Your fairy photoshoot will create some wonderful memories. Come and visit our real, hand built, enchanting fairy dell. Your child will be given a magical experience, captured in beautiful artwork to treasure forever.
We have taken steps to make our experience as safe as possible in the current climate. The studio will be thoroughly cleaned between sessions, including all props and costumes, and masks worn by staff. Full further details available on request.
When your child arrives, they will be taken to the special fairy dressing room, where they will choose a fairy outfit and get dressed, ready for the photoshoot. We have fairy dresses and skirts, headdresses and wings here, but you are very welcome to bring something special from home if you wish.
Once they are ready, one adult can take your child, along with a magical fairy lantern to guide them, over to the studio for the photoshoot.
Please note that fairies need to be at least 3 years old to take part in the fairy shoot.
Once in the studio, Caroline will take the time to get to know your child a bit and will help them to feel at ease. She will ask them to try to find some fairy dust that has been hidden in the dell, which will encourage them to move about the set naturally.
Then Caroline will guide them through some simple poses, such as sitting on the bridge and looking in the fairy pool, practicing using their wings or turning around. All the time, Caroline will talk to your child, making them feel comfortable, helping them to enjoy the photoshoot and making sure she gets the very best photos.
When the fairy photoshoot has finished, you can return to the dressing room and help your child out of their costume. Your child can then make their very own wand and explore our outdoor fairy garden, while Caroline prepares your images (around 15 minutes).
Caroline selects around 20 of the best shots from the session and adds a little magic of her own. Once Caroline is ready, you can return to the studio to see the images. We ask you to choose your favourite images.
Long term I am hoping to get together a selection of pretty dresses for my little fairies, but for now I point the parents towards the best colours, fabrics and accessories in a seasonal Pinterest board. I find this helps them choose suitable clothing and gives them an idea of my creative vision.
Christmas is just around the corner and if you are interested in a fairy photo shoot but would prefer a different season, why not ask your loved ones for a Wildgoose Photographics gift voucher for Christmas.

This Photo Session turned out to be one of my favorite sessions. I love capturing Mother Daughter Moments and certainly when this little girl grows up she will have this memory of her and her mom which will last for a long time!
This one, there was a request from Mom to add in mystical full moon Fairy artwork... You can see how I took the daylight image and with some digital artistry editing was able to complete the artwork on the left!
This location has a stone wall with a real window that you can sit in! You just dont get this level of make-believe in a Studio. We were able to pretend she was in a lost castle far away in a magical place (all a short hike away from the parking lot!)
This location is one of my absolute favorite spots for Fairytale Sessions because the real stone from an old property that is now a state park really lends itself to mysterious and fantasy magic styled photography shoots.
Now this set of photographs on this Mossy wall were very mysterious, but when I started editing to create a magical full moon scenic background it combined perfectly with the real mossy wall I had used to photograph this little girl.
Creating enchanted fairy images which appear as though you are in a moonlit fairytale dream is quite fun to do as an artist and gives each client an original piece of artwork unique to their photo session and location.
Using on-location lighting which lets me explore so many fun places off the beaten path to capture the most unique images, which are different than studio images. Its much more fun for children to experience a fairytale photo session out in the woods at a unique spot because they can believe and experience fantasy play in a much deeper sense and also create fond memories of playing make-believe with their parents or siblings.
Book your own fairytale Session on the west coast, either in Aptos, California near Monterey Bay, Mermaids in Lake Tahoe or near Seattle up by Puget Sound, near Bremerton, Gig Harbor, Tacoma or further north near Edmonds or Mercer Island. Just fill out one of the forms on my fairytale contact page! I will also be doing Fairytale Portraits the summer of 2022 near Roanoke, VA 24020 to bring Roanoke Fairies into reality on the east coast.
Once we were done, off we were to our first whimsical location. Of course, once we arrived we had to do a little climbing and sliding to get to the perfect location but it was so worth it as you can see. Our adventure was one we will always remember, it was filled with much laughter and joy.
My name is Catherine and I am a newborn, child, and family fine art portrait photographer located in Central Maine. I love nothing more than cuddling a sweet baby or creating a stunning, fairytale work of art.
What little girl does not love to dress up and run around dreaming of magic! Well, here at our studio in Glasgow, Blantyre, we make that dream come true. This magical set was created to make the dreams of little girls and little boys come alive with a fantastic magical fairy and elf adventure photoshoot.
I love to see the faces of the parents and children as they enter the studio. I often hear gasps of disbelief at how magical the set looks.
Many of the parents comment on how they would have loved something like this when they were little. And who could blame them....
Stepping into the studio transports you into a world where the fairy magic lives. With a fairy swing, bridge, toadstools, and much, much more. This magical experience takes their imagination to a different level!
At our studio in Lanarkshire Glasgow, our fairy and elf photoshoots are beautiful to watch.
Children who can be a little shy start to open up and start moving around the studio. There is just so much to see that curiosity takes over, and they can't resist having a little look!
Watching them start to play in the set creates beautiful natural images, and then they become immersed in the magic. Shouting out, looking for fairies and elves flying around the studio.
And that's why it's such fun to photograph all these little fairies and elves; no-one has to convince them that they have to take part.
Giving them a little time to allow their imagination and curiosity to take over, works a treat, and then the fun begins!
You don't need to bring anything at all. All costumes are provided for the photoshoot; you don't have to worry about bringing anything with you, only your excitement and imagination.
The only thing to think about is your little fairy's hair. If your little fairy has long hair, then some lovely curls would work great.
And as we have lots of fairy crowns, it works best if all the fairies have their hair down and not in any bobbles, ponytails, etc.
We often run competitions to win a fairy shoot. If you would like to know when that happens, join our mailing list to be in with a chance.
Or, if you would like to get your little one booked in for our next fairy adventure weekend, then get in touch using the button below.
I live in this neighborhood that has the best group of girlfriends. One of them had this idea to get our girls together for a fairy photo shoot. Something to remember this time in their (and our) lives; their incredible friendship; the way they make each other laugh as only they can. Something that captures the magic of their childhood.
According to Flowers, Texas-based Enchanted Fairies terminated an agreement with her studio months ago, after she voiced concerns about their scheduling arrangements. Since then, she's had to turn customers away or inform them a shoot with her independent studio doesn't include fairy costumes or props. Sometimes, the families travel hours to reach her.
