I tried finding out relevant information on Lantiq website. But i could not find any thing resourceful. I have a few doubts. 

1) Isnt the term baseband a relative one ? , I mean for audio applications the intermediate frequency or the baseband frequency range might be a few 100 Hz. But for RF applications it might be in MHz range. So when he said us to find the existing products in the market that support a datarate of 100Mbps in the baseband frequency not RF , Does he refer to the RF 60GHz.

if the situation is the same, i mean if it is not clear with all of you too , then i will mail the professor asking for more clarity.So please update your status by tonite.
