LRCers,

This Sunday, March 1st, is the first Sunday of the month.  That means it's our first scheduled "No Drop" road ride.

We have a weekly Sunday ride that starts at 11:00 am each Sunday morning - it moves to 9:00 am during the summer - but it's 11:00 this weekend.  The ride meets at the large parking lot on Bogus Basin Rd where the Bogus Basin main office and Lulu's Pizza are located.

The standard ride will still take place, but a slower paced ride will start either with the faster group or just after.  The pace will be "no drop" meaning that if you show up you won't be left on your own.  If the group starts to spread out (on a climb or similar) they will regroup before moving on.  Expect the pace to be in the 15-16 mph range - but it may vary depending on who is there - and expect a 20-30 mile ride.  The route will vary, but expect to start into the wind and finish with a tail wind.

The ride is open to all members and non-members, so bring your riding buddies.  The goal is to be social and to help all levels of riders learn to be better cyclists while having a good time.

Again, Sunday at 11:00 in the Lulu's parking lot.

The more riders that are there the more fun will be had.  :)

The weather looks like it should be pretty good for early March.
