Below are the meeting notes for the April club meeting.  Sorry these took so long to get out.

The May meeting date  has not been set, The 17th is bad (conflict with Ronde van Boise), and the 24th is bad (conflict with Memorial Day)...

Cabinet Members Present: Eric Lafferty, Brian Allen, Shannon Koeplin, Tim Richter

Cabinet Members Absent: Henry Harper, Ty Ketlenski

Club Members Present: Dave Fotsch, Troy Nichols

Over the Hill Gravel Grinder (June 13)

- Gem County is requires an event permit this year

- the checklist for permit requires sign-offs from multiple agencies, requiring in person visits which is creating extra work

- the Emmett Cherry Festival is same weekend (traffic could be bad)

- Lyle Pearson is again providing two Ineos vehicles

- publish a cutoff time (so that volunteers do not have to remain at stations forever)

- ride will start start at the school and end at Riverside Restaurant


ACTION ITEMS:

- Shannon and Dave to investigate what items we available for use from Shannon’s “secret stash” of bike stuff

Eric: contact Tailwind

Eric: tents, contact Boise Brewing about possible use of tent

Shannon: contact Reed’s about possible use of tent

Dave: create a volunteer sign up list


Ronde van Boise (May 17)

- Eric, John Twa and, James Cooper have talked about a new route for 2026

- route changed to provide a safer route and to try and provide a less difficult GPX trace

- no need for a rest stop this year

- we will need a grill and someone to man the grill


Fall Cyclocross Race

- October 31 and November 1

- Troy Nichols owns the event

- let's consider renaming the event as it's too difficult to find as no one knows how to seell the current name.

Troy: talk to Eagle Island to ensure that we are allowed back asd that dates are available

Troy: talk to Alex and Doug about aligning prices (can we be more integrated with their events)


Club kit:

Tim – look into different club sock options; darker blue? pink?

Tim – reopen store (soon)

Tim – investigate putting Boise, ID on the jersey to help Identify us when we’re out of town
