planning to race this year?

I'm reaching out to see who is planning to race this year.  If you have race plans please let me know the following

- what type of races are you planning to do?

- how many races are you planning to do?

The club has set aside some funds to help some club members with entry fees for local races.

Having club members at races in LRC Tem kits does a few things:  it gives exposure to our sponsors (via the kit), it helps keep racing alive in the Treasure Valley, and hopefully it helps recruit other riders to our club.  We see value in having LRC riders at events and want to help with the cost where we can.

Where you finish in a race is less important than being there with a positive attitude and representing the club in a positive manner.

So if you're planning to race, please reach out.

Also, we're looking for someone to help coordinate the effort.  The duties would be to keep track of who is racing (when and where), coordinate reimbursement payments, and keep track of the total outlay so that we stay within budget.  Also coordinating anything else that might be needed to keep the program on track.  Sound interesting?  Please let me know if you'd like to do this.

Good idea.  When I lived in California my club had a race reimbursement program.  10 races got a 100% reimbursement up to $50 per race.  If you did 5 races you would receive partial credit.  

So far for 2026, I’m registered for the Sea Otter Classic circuit race in monterey (not local).
