Microsoft Edge Administrative Templates files are divided into .admx files and language-specific .adml files. To configure Microsoft Edge with group policy objects, install administrative templates that add rules and settings for Microsoft Edge to the group policy Central Store in your Active Directory domain.
After you extract the templates, open MicrosoftEdgePolicyTemplates\windows\admx. Copy msedgeupdate.admx and msedge.admx files to %systemroot%\PolicyDefinitions.
To take advantage of the benefits of .admx files, you must create a Central Store in the sysvol folder on a Windows domain controller. The Central Store is a file location checked by the Group Policy tools by default.
Well damn, I recently upgraded my ADMX/ADML files using this download Administrative Templates (.admx) for Windows 11 September 2022 Update.msi, are you saying these templates are not compatible with my 97% Windows 10 environment?
There are three ADMX files under the windows\admx path: msedge.admx, msedgeupdate.admx, and msedgewebview.admx. Only the first of these is used for the actual management of Microsoft Edge. The second one controls the auto updater, which you should completely disable via GPO if you want to get updates via WSUS.
Important: It is important that you follow the order of the steps in this upgrade process. Upgrade the software on all computers only after adding the new .adm or .admx file to Group Policy. If you upgrade beforehand, log files might be stored in two locations. One contains log files for the old version and the other contains the files for the new version. This consideration particularly affects Citrix virtual desktops deployments.
We recommend that you install the same version of Profile Management on all user devices and that you add the .adm or .admx file of that same version to each Group Policy Object on all domain controllers. Doing so prevents corruption of profile data, which might result when different user store structures (from different versions) exist.

Thanks very much for posting this article, it explained a lot of concepts I have never seen in another post especially the fact the .admx files are not downloaded by the client or processed when the client is processing GPOs (I never understood that before).
Copy all the ADMX files to install the Administrative Template of all the Office applications (recommend). If you like to have the group policy of only one application, copy only the ADMX file that you need. For example, outlk16.admx (Microsoft Outlook).
ShareFile includes policy definitions that can be used to push out settings and configuration using Group Policy (GPO). The .admx and .adml files are at C:\Program Files\citrix\ShareFile\PolicyDefinitions
