I noticed there is rather a large and alive turtle in our pool.  I left a message for Marilyn.   Probably not a good idea to swim in pool till the turtle has been removed and then cleaned.

Hi Alice: the turtle does not pose a health issue. I have inquired of the board if they want me to have someone go get it out...probably a cost of $75 or so. Hopefully another resident will just pluck it out

No, just a pole with a "hook" of some sort, like you would grab on to it.  If we get the turtle out, what do we then do with it?
