Just joined, was hoping to find a robust community of Los Angeles-based UAV hobbyists here but it doesn't look like this forum is very active.  Any recommendations for other places that might have more people discussing things and meeting up.  I'm personally most interested in the camera tech, and would love to get some time with people who are flying over coastal areas.

Hello Guys,

I started this group about 3 years ago, and yes it's a ghost town. I started flying drones (quad and hex copters) back when the ardupilot was two separate boards that needed lots of soldering.. DJI did not exist lol.. I have the IRIS developers edition with a pixhawk and brushless gimbal..I am in the downtown L.A. Area,  Please advise on when and where you'd like to meet up and I'll try to join
