Final weekends of popcorn season!

Hello parents,

We are nearing the end of Pack 22's popcorn fundraiser! The popcorn fundraiser is a major source of support for Pack 22's operating costs, and also supports Council-led programs like the upcoming range sports day in Albuquerque. 

We are asking Scouts to either do two hours of storefront sales or sell $200 of popcorn online or through wagon sales (sales to neighbors and friends separate from the storefronts). 

There are a number of incentives associated with these sales. First, Scouts can earn gift cards through Trail's End, and every Scout who meets our 2 hours/$200 request will be invited to a special Pack 22 event. (Last year, we had an ice skating party.) Second, the Scout's spring dues will be discounted or eliminated, depending on how much popcorn was sold. Third, for parents of AOL Scouts, these Scouts' popcorn sales money will be handed over to their Troops following Crossover, to be placed in Scout Accounts under their names. This money can then be used to cover Scouting summer camp and activity costs. 

Our final day of storefront sales will be November 2. You can find all upcoming storefront shifts, as well as information about how much popcorn your Scout has sold, through the Trail's End app. (If you are signing in to Trail's End for the first time, you will need Pack 22's unit code, DPG8X.) I have opened up a handful of extra storefront hours at the Los Alamos Smith's, which I know is the most convenient location for most of our families.
