Greetings LAGS Members and Friends,

There is a new file posted to our Google group page. Please check it
out if you have the chance.

It's that time of year again -- the time when we need your help to
prepare and host another great Earth Treasure Show. This year's show
is scheduled for December 4 and 5, 2010 at the Masonic Temple (15th
and Canyon).

To have a good show that benefits our scholarship fund, we are in need
of your help.
(1) Silent Auction Item Donations -- we are in particular need of
decent mineral specimens to draw bidders to the tables. Our mineral
experts on the LAGS Board can value your donations and provide you
with a document for tax deduction, as LAGS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
educational organization.

(2) Volunteers -- from set-up to take-down/cleanup and everything in
between, volunteers are the heart of this event. We will need people
to help on Friday with event setup, table/furniture transport, and
more, and will need people on Saturday and Sunday to help run booths
and provide information to show visitors. Look for more information

The first week of December will come quickly! Through your donations
and volunteer efforts, please help us to make this 42nd Annual Earth
Treasure Show the best yet.
