Greetings and Happy New Year, LAGS Members and Friends!

If you haven't already registered for the 2012 LAGS Dinner Banquet and
Special Guest Lecture, please do so as soon as possible. Space is
limited, so register now! Share this announcement with your friends
and colleagues!

Interested in attending, but haven't yet registered? Just follow the
three easy steps below:
1. Email emily.s...@gmail.com by Friday, 1/13/2012 to hold your
place at the banquet**. Include your name, address, email, phone,
number of people attending, and any dietary restrictions.
2. Mail payment for $25 per person to LAGS, PO Box 762, Los Alamos, NM
87544
3. Join us Saturday evening, January 21, 2012, at 5:30pm for a
delicious meal and a superb presentation!

**completing Step 1 guarantees your spot(s) for the banquet, and full
payment to LAGS for all reserved spots will be required.


This year's caterer is the Los Alamos Cooperative Market, offering a
wonderful menu of local and organic foods.

Our guest speaker is Dr. Fraser Goff, talking on the newly-published
geologic map of the Valles Caldera, Jemez Mountains, New Mexico.

The banquet takes place at the Los Alamos Christian Church, located at
92 East Road -- the same location as our regular meetings.
