Hello Everyone:
It's Friday morning and I have not heard from anyone about going on
the field trip on
Saturday the 3rd. I need a response from you by 5PM Friday (today) if
this field trip is going
to happen. If there are no responses, I will not run the trip!

Here's a recap of the information. My plan is to meet at the Mc
Donald's on the north side of
Socorro at 9 AM on Saturday the 3rd to tour Trinity Site. We will then
drive to the San Antonio
exit and head about 15 miles to Stallion Gate at White Sands Missle
Range. The gate is
open from 8 AM to Noon that day. Photography is permitted only at
Trinity site and is
worth doing. I will have some geology related handouts for interested
parties. The weather
should be sunny and warm. There will be restroom facilities and a
concession stand as
well as a shuttle service to the McDonald ranch house. After the tour,
we will try to have
lunch at the Owl Cafe, which serves the usual New Mexico's best green
chili cheeseburger.
