Whyis this still not fixed??? I just decided to try out an evoker. I hate the dragon form, what good is it to have chosen identity if everytime i use hover to get around town i need to manually cast visage again??
Option 2 and 3 are different. Some evoker specs use a lot of breath abilities , and to avoid a constant shifting animation you might prefer visage form to be the one activated on non-dragon abilities, rather than forcing back into visage form immediately after dragon abilities. Or they could make you choose or macro/addon the difference.
However it must be noted, that the Dracthyr visage form is also greatly loved and important for the race too as there are people not into monster races, but would play this race a lot more if they could stay in visage form.
If I had to guess I say warrior priest, monk and rogue are deffinates. Warrior because of the above priest because every race can be a priest monk and rogue for the same reason and it fits the military theme
Warrior for sure, but I think classes like Warrior and rogue, even the magical classes would be Dracthyr who no longer want to be Evokers or failed to become evokers, but found out that was because they had more talent in other areas, and discovered they could be excellent shaman, druids, palas, priests, warriors etc etc.
Secondly the dragons are the best natural shapeshifters about, constnatly assuming other forms, and of ALL the classes out there, Druid and Mage are the two that have the strongest correlation and ties directly to the flights and their essences.
I have no idea if Visage Ink is even supposed to be variable across appearance configs in the first place, since it is under the Features tab and not the Clothing tab. For now, it is allowed to be set differently per config. Changing that might fix the whole problem, since it seems like Visage Ink is intended to be more of a permanent tattoo than temporary face paint anyway, considering that it is under Features and that only the adult Drifter can use it.
That part I didn't know. The fact that it behaves differently might depend on which appearance config you use as your main one. If most people stick to a certain appearance config, then they might not have even noticed the bug, which would be why this report isn't getting much traffic.
Trying to replicate this reddit post again today. To no avail. I copy the exact head and visage ink values and i get a different result than pictured in the reddit post. Which i kind of expected would happen because it happened before, a couple months ago when i tried it as well.
I had taken screenshots of my previous values i was happy with so i could return to them. But when i tried that, it also didnt result in what i previously had.
So it seems like Visage ink is not only inconsistent between different players, different loadouts but also between sessions? or at least it would seem i can't return to the visage ink i had before with the same values i had before.
Here you can see the before and after:
It's not game breaking i know, but i would still like to see it fixed. At the very least for a single player across the loadouts, but also between players so that, much like with warframe fashionframe, Visage ink and operator fashion can be shared between players.
Changing the values a few times also managed to fix the visage looking different across clothing configs, but how long that will last remains to be seen...
Especially since when I first went in to check my fashion today each clothing configs had different offsets for whatever reason
