Hi,
I'm a new member - just joined. I am located in Denmark. I'm looking
for info and answers about how to get my Lopho to flower. I bought it
in Amsterdam over 30 years ago. It has always been in good health, but
dormant in growth. After I moved to a house with optimal windows, it's
been growing "pups" that I have successfully moved to seperate pots.
But, I've never seen it flower! I must admit that it's been in the
same pot with the same earth all this time. I have read the post about
fertilizing, but what is the best kind of medium to grow them in? Any
suggestions?

Repot it in black earth and some limestore.
As for fertilizer, I use organic fish fert.

Greetings from Holland,

After 30 years changing the soil in which your lopho lives wouldn't be such a bad idea....

That will probably enough to make it flower.

best regards, rené
