Dear all,

This thread is to discuss about Final Presentation. Sir has strongly advised to avoid any repetition. He has asked LOP guys not to include anything describing the whole project in general as that will be covered by Thesis guys in their presentation.

@Harish and Keshav: Please do share the outline of your presentation with us as early as possible so that we could prepare our outline and get started.

Well I guess there shouldn't be any overlap unless we start talking about the army project or HATNeT. We talk for about 5 minutes about our literature survey, how this protocol and why this not, peculiar features in some protocols. Then, we can easily denote 5 minutes our own simulations,  describing the scenario, the modules, how they will move etc. and then produce some results in the end. All this accompanied with 5-10 slides should do it alright for us.

+1 for Tanay !

Only clash possible is when we talk about OMNET++ and INET (specially Mobility patterns). We must decide on this as to who takes what part.

For OMNET++ & INET: Shubham will talk about class hierarchy with diagrams as to how to create a Soldier or other vehicular node by extending the Adhoc Host. And also how MANET routing module has been implemented in INET.

I wish to speak about class hierarchy in Mobility patterns. Very briefly I shall talk about the mobility base class etc.
@Tanay: Do you wish to go ahead with this? I will find something else then for myself.

Anyone up for general description of OMNET++ and INET. It should come ideally in someone's presentation.

@Itiyama: What do say ? You plan to go first right ?

I can talk about event scheduling in OMNet++.

Anyone with any success with "validated" plots and results for end-to-end delay, throughput etc.? :|

No man. Nothing on results so far. I am thinking to reorder my work. Would work on results first and then the Video Streaming application. Lets see, will look into after the presentation tomorrow.

Umm, you won't show the results in the simulation that you present! That is the point of a simulation.

Can't help it :(

Will have to say that we are working on it. Yet something on some layer (in my case application layer) is missing. Would compile the results soon. A simulation without results is our fall tomorrow :-|
