Please share the soldier module that we're going to use in this thread or its characteristics so that I can create on my own. Also let us distribute the work to integrate the battery module in our simulation. I think the different jobs would be to find out appropriate parameters to be supplied in the ini file, configuring the NED file to include battery module, modifying the battery module to fit our requirement of a tactical situation etc.

Please find attached the modified 'Demo'.

We made the soldier a new module extending the adhoc host. Also added the battery module. Now the task remains is to use some function calls during receive and send to change the battery level. Further to set a threshold and and disable a host if the battery goes down a critical level.

I've not gone through the complete battery module but I think the feature of decrementing the battery level with every time instance is already provided in the module; so including it with the host should suffice.

For battery, we should use inetSimpleBattery and not simple battery module as in the DemoNetwork. Go through the .cc file for it, you'll see that it has functions implemented for our use.

Regarding the military scenarios, what is the motive of the investigation? Is this part meant to be technical?
