In previous versions you could clear scores by switching between
scoring modes.

How do you clear scores in version 2.8.2?

I have 2.8.2.

Look under the "Edit" menu.

You can "Memorize" or "Unmemorize" an item by suing Command-K and Shift-Command-K.

You can "Clear Score" by using Command-R or Shift-Command-R.

This difference is the "Memorize" is used for the "Simple" study system. An item is either known or unknown. The  "Score" is used for the Score study system. The more times you correctly learn a card, the higher the score you accumulate.

These two different ways of evaluating what you know are stored separately. This can be confusing, but it can also be useful once understood.
