Abandonware?

I tried writing the developer a couple of times about the lack of iPad support and the new iOS app that seems to be never coming out, but got no response.  Has ANYone heard ANYthing?  Someone posted wondering whether he would sell the development rights and I have to say that sounds like a really good idea at this point.  iFlash is good but has the potential to be much better, and the poor mobile device support is an especially sore point.

My humble opinion:
Don't wait. All friends and colleagues that I talked to have moved to other solutions, away from iFlash. The reason mainly being, that iFlash support on mobile devices is rather limited, not to say inexistent. So I guess even selling the code to somebody else will not help anymore. To be honest, being a programmer myself, I don't buy a dead project. It is not worth anymore, to invest time. Not for somebody who can earn money in another project. And if somebody is a beginner, it will likely not help the project either. So. As a conclusion, iFlash is probably dead.

The author of the program now works for Apple. Check out his twitter @daveymcgav and you can find some users already asked him about the upgradability.

Seems kind of weird, working at Apple but abandoning good Apple software.  Maybe he is working on similar product at Apple and had to sign a non-compete?

As far as dead, I guess it is starting to look like you are right, but I have yet to see an alternative as much to my own taste at least.  Everything else seems to be either too simple or overburdened with a lot of features in a complex UI.  (Yes I've checked out the products mentioned on this forum.)

@ ABR: I agree. Given the fact that iFlash seems to have been abandoned bij its creator, I would be ready to acquire another program. But I don't know any real alternative to iFlash.
