Problem with current version of Flash, audio import causes app to crash.

Hey there. I just got Flash for my mac and am having a big problem here.  I am studying to become a professional book writer, and wanted to import audio from an external source such as a digital voice recorder.  I even had audio files in my portable flash drive and when I found the audio to import, I hit the enter key to select and import the file, but every time I have done this, the app seems to crash.  Why is there a choice to attach an audio file from external sources only to find the app crashes when importing an audio file to the card.  I temporarily got rid of the application until this bug is fixed.  Apparently, the old 2014 version is out-of-date and there are no specifications as to the audio types that can be imported.  I tried AAC audio format and that is when the app crashed.  I tried WAV audio format directly from my voice recorder and the app crashed.  I tried audio files from my memory card and that worked, but the developer did not give specifications to the types of audio formats to import.  Could someone tell the developer this problem and see if this bug can't be fixed soon?

Hi Rick, I have the same problem - I guess because the software hasn't been updated for 3 years or so. Opening the inspector window for a card and dragging the audiofile across from Finder still seems to work fine, though.
