Loopware server cannot be accessed

I just bought iFlash on the Apple store. I am running Catalina on my iMac. I was able to create a flashcard set from a csv file created in the Numbers app. I was also able to export this flashcard set to my iPhone. So, that is great.

However, I was unable to create a Loopware account. The registration procedure could not complete because the iFlash app could not connect to the Loopware server. My internet connection is OK. Safari has no problem to open websites. 

Now I wonder why I have this problem. Is it due to Catalina? Is the Loopware server temporarily offline? Or was the Loopware server iFlash service terminated? 

If somebody has some answers then please let me know.

iFlash appears to be abandonware, which is pretty lame. I've still got it running on Monterey, but I don't know for how much longer. It's a darn shame, 'cause every other flashcard app I've looked at doesn't work nearly as well for my study style.
