I have added images to my iFlash stacks on my mac but when I export
them to the iphone app the images do not transfer and the side is
blank. I know there are other flash card programs where this will work
but as I have already purchased iFlash and the iFlash app I want this
to work on this platform.

Any help and suggestions are most welcome!

Thanks

Don't hold your breath. Unfortunately, there is not much hope for any updates

Nothing announced

Last update to iFlash touch was over 13 months ago - Feb 1011

Last update (2.8.2) to the Mac version was Jan 2011

Developer-not-found ever since

Best expectation: What you see is what you got - or - go elsewhere

Move to Anki http://ankisrs.net photos and sound work smoothless on mobile devices. It is multiplatform. What we were expecting from iFlash and never will get.

Another Option on iPhone/iPad is Flashcard Deluxe http://www.orangeandapple.com/
It is iOS only, so no Linux, no Windows, no Mac, no Android. Yet it is
a very nice application. And it can handle pictures/sounds as well. I
have recently transfered all my stuff from iFlash to FlashCard Deluxe
and I am very happy with it.
Plus the Developer is very nice, and still acitve...
Plus from FlashCard Deluxe you can export your cards with all data,
including media, and including statistics.
...in case you will need to export again in the future...
good luck!

YES! for Anki!

After waiting for years for an iFlash update I've given up.

I've been trying Anki for a couple of months now (actually the Beta Anki 2), with great results.

Example of major features:

- I use it on iMac, macBook, iPad, iPod touch and AnkiWeb
(Windows, Linux, Android, ... also supported)
- synchs beautifully via its own "cloud"
Yeah - no more copying to a thumb drive to transfer between desktop and laptop!!
- user-defined "card decks" with multiple fields, sounds & images
- a deep hierarchy of "card decks" (vs. iFlash's flat "Categories")
- rich search criteria including a select-list of previous searches
- user-defined tags
- sophisticated customizable spaced repetition algorithm
- "cram/study" decks built with user-defined search criteria
- great study stats
- & a whole lot more

I have really enjoyed and benefited from iFlash, but it's time to move on.

Davey, many thanks for a once great product!
