Yes, that's a cute and small pedal board! ;-)) He plays well, think.
I especially noticed the part in unison at the very end. Why is it
rock school guitar players never play i unison? Only jazz fusion
players do, but it's much cooler with rock based playing. I've heard
it long ago from Zeppelin (third album) and even earlier from The
Sweet. The Eagles, The Allman Brothers and Wishbone Ash just played
two guitar soli in harmony, never in unison. The Good Rats was another
good two guitars band, but they also just did harmony dual soloing
(like the Allman's on acid). I'd like to start a two guitars, bass and
drums band for unison melody playing, that would be awesome! The
unison melody playing from two, or more, distorted guitars is very
similar to the sound of traditional Scandinavian folk music where lots
of play violins in unison. Or at least they try too, but since every
one is free to join in a the violinists with bad intonations makes it
sound twisted. A great sound, similar to bag pipe orchestras.
