And, for anyone who still believes that the 'thugs and their
operatives did not STEAL the "election" and TWICE, via a variety of
ways and methods,
and that they are not still planning to try it again, then do I ever
have some bridges in Death Valley to SELL to THEM. (and at "bargain
rates"!)
And please spare the "excuse" that Nader was a "spoiler" in the first
"election" and was responsible for the "victory" going to BushCo,
which is not only not true,
but has been proven not to be so. (do the research on yer own) Along
with the various shifty tactics that the Rethug operatives pulled
off, the real margin between Bush and Gore was too wide for the
measly 2.74% that Nader got to have "turned" the "election" to BushCo.
(And then there was that "minor" issue of 1,000's of votes that never
even got counted, at all. The 'thugs and the "talk" shows like for ya
to *forget* about that.)
The list of what the 'thugs and their minions did (some of which they
are STILL planning to try AGAIN) is a fairly long one, and I won't go
into all those details here.
But, anyone else can just as easily find out if they just take the
time to actually do the research,etc.

But for me, the REAL reason that BushCo "won" the first "election" is
because only around something like *35%* of ELIGIBLE voters even
BOTHERED to vote.
That means a HUGE portion of the eligible voters simply did NOT vote,
and / or could not "be bothered" to. And to think that in some
countries in the world, there are people who are willing to die for
(and have died for) just the privilege, or right, to even vote at
all. Americans in general seem to be so incredibly lazy, or spoiled,
and even apathetic (or even fatalistic) when it comes to certain very
important things, and have had it so good for so long now, that they
just simply take a lot for granted.
(Such as their own US Constitution that has been violated numerous
times by Bush and GANG,Inc, and yet most Americans still do not even
raise on eyebrow about it, far less to actually raise any hell or try
to do something about it. Lemmings.....?)
This apathy and being willingly clueless crap and preferring to
remain disengaged, etc, has also been going on for well over 2
decades now (at least), so it's a small "wonder" we finally ended up
with the 'thugs in full power for around 12 years or so, and that we
are now at this incredible wreckage juncture as a result of the
disastrous Bush (haha) 'administration', which BTW is to leave
behind a monumental mess, and the repercussions of which just about
everyone is going to be feeling and dealing with for a LOOOONG time.
I certainly hope that a lot of today's "Young Republicans" groups on
campuses and elsewhere, and anyone else who is dumb enough to STILL
vote Rethuglican,
realize that FACT.
