Hi Everyone,

I'm starting a project and would like to use Loopback with Redis.
I tried installing the loopback-connector-redis but It seems that the connector is not in the npm registry :

npm install loopback-connector-redis

npm ERR! 404 404 Not Found: loopback-connector-redis
npm ERR! 404
npm ERR! 404 'loopback-connector-redis' is not in the npm registry.
npm ERR! 404 You should bug the author to publish it
npm ERR! 404 It was specified as a dependency of 'photome-api'
npm ERR! 404
npm ERR! 404 Note that you can also install from a
npm ERR! 404 tarball, folder, or http url, or git url.

Is there any alternative connector i should be using ?

Kind regards,

Florian

I dont think there is a Redis connector just yet Florian.  Connectors are listed in documentation. found here:

However, you can create your own connector listed on the bottom of that same linked page.

This isn't an official connector yet, but has some basic functionality:

StrongLoop makes it easy to develop APIs in Node, plus get DevOps capabilities like monitoring, debugging and clustering.

Thanks for the replies,  I will fork this repo https://github.com/raymondfeng/loopback-connector-redis as a base. It might be missing some functionalities but it should already cover most of my needs.
