Hi,

I am newbie here and its just being 1 day to know and understand loopback. I have successfully created Loopback project (including model and datasource -> connected to my mySQL server DB). But, I am stuck at deploying it on my website (webserver) anyone knows how to do it, what hostname, port should i use?

NOTE: I am using Windows system (:/) so I am unable to run Process Manager (slc pm).

Many Thanks!

Bhargav

You are using windows to develop your application, or you are
deploying your application to a windows server?

Hi Sam,

Thanks for reply!

I have created app in my system (windows 8.1 laptop). It works fine on localhost. Can you help how would I access it on my website or web page?
The website server is linux web hosting server.

Thanks in advance.

Best,

Bhargav

You can use slc or StrongLoop Arc to deploy your app to your Linux server.  See http://docs.strongloop.com/display/SLC/Building+and+deploying.

Basically, you run StrongLoop Process Manager on the server, build your app (to a Git repo or .tgz), then deploy it to StrongLoop PM.

Hope that's helpful.
