Hey guys,

I got the getter/setter issue fixed, and I have a lead on why the
custom namespace functions are not working. A new alpha build has been
posted with this fix.

ITEMS FIXED
- Setters/Getters now fully advisable.

ONGOING KNOWN ISSUES/LIMITATIONS (ordered by priority)
- Methods with custom namespace declarations fail when called
- Static class methods defer to the superclass implementation and
are not proxied

Thanks,

- max

Thanks Max! Sorry I've been busy and haven't been able to kick the tires on this like I should be. I'll try to set aside some time to try things out and give some feedback. Just wanted to make sure you knew we appreciate the work. :-)

Thanks Brian! I'm guessing that Loom will be a lot more fun once the SWFLoader is done, but for the minute you can mess around with the class definition in the demo app.

I was looking at the SWF spec in more detail yesterday and the SWFLoader may end up being a piece of cake. Unlike the ABC spec, they deliberately built the SWF spec so that programs can safely skip parts that they don't care about, so I should just need to find the DoABC tag and suck out the bytes. Depending on when I get home tonight I might try to sneak this in before I leave for vacation on Friday.

Same here Max, I'm swamped with work right now, so no real time to
play around yet.
I only opened the project once and browsed a little through the code.
But that doesn't mean your work is not simply awesome :) Once Loom is
out and people
are starting to build AOP frameworks with it Flash/Flex will have
grown a couple of miles,
all thanks to you :)

cheers!

Thanks Roland! Let's see if it all works first, but I'm hoping people
will find it useful if it does.
