to LOOKOUT 5O APP TESTERS
thank you all for being a part of this.  It would help improve the app: Your giving me feedback.  Based upon usage with my sole device I have tailored the app to perform well with a phone with 8 cpus, and have made assumptions regarding the hypothetical performance as well the assignment of resources based upon my own device as I have had hitherto no feedback nor rating and only 3 reviews.

If you desire to help improve the app then please use the 'MEASURE' button hidden inside of the click-expandable card that houses the Lookout service's toggle switch.  Then email me the performance_log.txt found in /storage/emulated/0/android/data/xxx.xorxecor.lookout5o/files folder.  Include the error_log.txt if relevant as well for some extra love and appreciation.  But only if you so desire.  Please understand that some aspects of the app remain guesswork as I have had  hitherto no feedback to aid the development and gather performance metrics I need to improve the internals.

I have made some peculiar choices in releasing the app given the ongoing wrestling match I am made to suffer because of the existence of the R8 / proguard optimizer's relevance to the app releasing process on Android platform.  I call it the R8 mangler because this is what it has done to my code, repetitiously, rendering innumerable previous versions as veritable cripples in their incapacity to deliver the functionality for which they were designed.

You might wonder why every image in the app and relevant to it seemingly involves a reference to alcohol.  In truth it is because I became a daily drinker in order to better cope with the brutality of linguistic intolerance, explicit declaration, and rigid conformity programming represents to my natural inclination towards poetic expression and inference.  I find the insult to my nature that programming proves to be much more tolerable when imbibing strong spirits.  Easier to take the blows and repetitiousness of failures incessant.  I come at coding all swervin' at the keys and it serves me to deal with the hilarity of its over-complexity and febrile rigidity and incapacity for approximation, doubt, variance, uncertainty, variability, imprecision, duplicity or multiplicity, illogic, spontaneity, inspiration, interminability, incommensurability, hilarity, complexity, inaccuracy, mistakes, uncertainty, incapacity to comprehend, intention, contradiction, creativity, ambivalence, ambiguity, forgetfulness, miscalculation, misdirection, contrivance, art and artifice through which we all navigate from moment to moment in our living our lives.

Fortunately this intolerance proved less than that of the Python programming language which regularly chides me for my creative use of empty space and feigns ignorance of the contextual and syntactic meaning of what I express inside of that unforgivably creative use of empty space.  I imagine some archetypal combat between the likes of E. E. Cummings and the Python programming language -- that would indeed be an epic battle of hilarity.  I would pay good money to watch that fight, more than any Tyson battle...

Long winded way of saying thank you, despite the little I did gain from anyone during the testing phase of the release of this app.  My own testing of the app on the sole device I own results in the app as it now is in being released.  I hope now to start a separate testing group of anyone willing to participate worldwide for future pre-releases and will require feedback from each in order to retain each as a tester given access to pre-release versions.  Otherwise, no real progress and advancement is made.

Three among you left a review of the app and despite no feedback otherwise this confers the reward to the same three persons of subscription-free enjoyment of all paid features for life.  You know who you are and so do I.  Thank you.

Big things are planned for Lookout 5o, with two additional features in the works: detection of cameras ; detection of devices and their owners who might be staking or following you.  Paid features that will add to the value of the app and provide an equitable balance to FREE versus PAID functionality it delivers.  Mapping comes next to the PAID 5o package so you can see on a map the location of each detection and export the collection of detections to Google Maps and Google Earth, replete with metadata informing on the date and time, specific device identified, proximity to your device, etc.

A partnership is possibly precipitating that might see the future inclusion of some of my app's features in another app as a value-added incentive to promote and better market that app.  I am open to suggestions and offers of collaboration.  So much so that my subsequent endeavor has already been launched in partnership with another person to make a novel type of game.  The embryonic app incorporates haptic feedback and cleverly computed and coordinated audio played on the two devices paired for the gameplay in simulating in a most hilarious manner a real world physical game arena.  It compiles, yet currently does little more than that despite some good portion of the 3D audio computations and physics engine have been coded.  The game is a two-player competition utilizing 3D audio and haptic feedback to simulate real world gameplay.  'Nuff said.  This app pioneers a new type of game on mobile devices and will open up the eyes and perspective of other developers who will enrich the users of mobile devices with subsequent imitation in exploring a brave, new paradigm for gameplay.

Best regards, and Good Yule to you all.
