forageSF is Hiring

forageSF is growing.  Our projects have been going very well this past year, so we're looking for a few more people to help us grow.  People who are interested and engaged in what we're about. The reason you're receiving this email is because I wanted to tap into the community of people who already know our focus.

Given the small size of the business, each one of these positions will be taking on a good deal of responsibility.  We're looking for people who are engaged and interested in supporting the local foods community, as well as working in an environment where they get to learn/do many different things.  You won't be sitting a desk all the time, or cooking all the time; but be sitting, foraging, planning, eating, cooking, calling, and drinking etc.  Being flexible is key.  There are 3 positions open. If you're interested, please click below for more info and instructions for applying. If you know anyone who would be perfect for these jobs, feel free to forward this message along.  Also, we were just featured on two Travel Channel shows, Bizarre Foods, and The Wild Within.  Check them out...there's raccoon eating involved.

Thank you,
Iso Rabins
Founder: forageSF

Market Manager and  General Assistant:

This is the most involved and important job at forageSF.  You will be managing all aspects of the Underground Market, working closely with Iso Rabins, as well as helping out in day to day business.  This job is everything from foraging seaweed to organizing vendors, and is full time.
Wild Food Walks:

This is not job-related, but I wanted to let everyone know that we've got some pretty amazing walks coming up.
Everything from seafood gathering in SF to morel hunting in the Sierras.  It's going to be a fun couple of months.

Wild Kitchen Manager:

You'll be in charge of all things front of house for our underground restaurant The Wild Kitchen. Responsibilities will be everything from foraging to organizing volunteers.  The dinners are a lot of fun, but also a lot of work.  Since we only do the dinners once a month, this is a part time job (at least for now), and about a week of work/month.

Wild Kitchen-Prep and Equipment:

We're looking for someone to help out in all things back of house for our dinners.  Click for more info.
