The space: Large carpeted (gray) living room area (14 x 15) which houses one ikea desk, internet, telephone, beautiful hand painted dresser, another ikea dresser, two nice white ikea bookshelves, a cool little coffee table, big green soft couch that fits 3, big windows (no view, but gets good indirect sunlight) with nice window shades, and a nice tall halogen light, and a trashcan. yup - that's everything!
Bedroom/Closet: lofted full-size bed on wooden platform, two doors open to closet, storage space underneath with some of my stuff there in boxes but will probably be gone by the time you move in,
Kitchen: LARGE... about 6 ft wide by 14 ft long, houses two of my paintings that could possibly be moved if need be, nice circular maple table with leaves that fold down (to make a rectangle), bamboo 'carpet' on linoleum flooring (black and white), another desk, big fridge/freezer, stove/oven, sink, lots of cabinet storage, all the kitchen supplies you need to make and eat yummy meals. all cleaning supplies below sink.
Bathroom: normal size - about 5 feet by 4 feet including tub with shower over it, tiled walls around tub, toilet, sink, mirror, small inset shelving, storage space under sink, 3 bathroom rugs to keep your feet cozy over the tiled floor, and two towel racks.
Foyer: you walk in and the bathroom is to the left and the closet to the right. then a little alcove that used to house the phone buzz in system. it's a great place to put your keys so you don't lose them! Linoleum floor. Then in front is the glass paned door with crystal door knob that opens to the living area.
There are doors between each room giving it a spacious feel.
I love my baby. This apartment. It has been well maintained and is totally spotlessly super clean for you! It is time for new carpets though and I am pretty sure the landlord has to re-do them by law because it has been at least 3 years.
I'm visiting family in Philly / moving to another residence / need to give one month's notice = why I am subletting.
Also - if you don't know the lower haight - it's the best part of town, not pretentious, friendly neighbors / merchants, lots of restaurants, coffee shops, medicinal cannabis shops, bars, convenience stores, (wearable) art stuff (upper playground, D-Structure, Lower Haighters), and most recently 3 Twins Organic Ice Cream shop! wooohooo! Public transit central: on the corner: 22, 6, 7, 71. down the block N/J. down a bit more. K,L,M,T lines... WOW! oh and MUSIC... open mic nights, gigs at the bars, sf underground for dancin clubby stuff, sunday jazz at cafe international, and fun street musicians!
