Room for Rent (Panhandle/Mid-Haight)

Move in date: January 1st or sooner
Rent: $670
Email if interested: jessyj...@gmail.com and spi...@sbcglobal.net

First and Last months rent due before move-in date ($1340) plus a security deposit of $375. We split PG&E and Comcast every month.

We live in an upper Victorian flat on Baker St. @ Page St., right between Buena Vista Park & the Panhandle of Golden Gate Park. Neighborhood is middle-upper Haight near Divisadero. The room is large, with bay windows, plenty of light, and a fire place (not sure if it is usable).  It has no closet; but in the past, housemates have gotten a portable closet to put in the room.

We are looking for a housemate who is easy going, willing to do chores and put some energy into house matters (i.e. thru occasional house meetings/discussions), will make an effort to communicate when needed, and who enjoys music, food, and company. We each live our own busy lives, but enjoy doing things together as well, and like to feel the sense of community at home, meaning we would prefer someone who doesn't see this as just a place to live, but as a home to make.

We share and split the cost of natural cleaning supplies and recycled toilet paper. We are also committed to composting and recycling. We are looking for someone who can commit to AT LEAST 6 MONTHS! NO dogs (a cat would be considered) and NO couples. NO cigarette smokers. ALSO, you must like cats.

AGES: 24-34 would be best.

About us:
We are all in our mid-twenties. Jessie works at an environmental non-profit and yoga studio, enjoys going to music shows & yoga classes, practicing guitar, & preparing raw vegan foods. Ronnie is from SF, and teaches art at an Elementary school. She is crafty, enjoys design, playing banjo, and going to shows. Christina enjoys reading, writing, meditation, philosophy, and good times.

The apartment has the following:
-coin-operated washer/dryer (on first floor)
-porch
-backyard (mostly cement but w/ small garden space)
-living room
-medium-sized kitchen
-small dishwasher
-black cat named Vinnie
-one large bathroom
-wireless internet
-water filter

Let us know about yourself, and please let us know when you would be available for an interview!

Thank You!
