We are 13 people living collectively in a smoke-free, 4-story Victorian
house. The house has been a shared living household in the western
Addition since 1972. We are of various ages, genders, sexual orientations
and class and ethnic backgrounds. We have many different interests but
some we enjoy together are gardening, baking, baking and making music.
Many of us our politically active. We are looking for housemates who are
interested in living collectively and committed to honest communication,
shared responsibilities, and cooperative ownership.

Our house is floors, 13 bedrooms, 2 guest rooms, huge fully-stocked
kitchen, dining room, pantry, 2 living rooms, small library,
meditation/art room,3 small porches, back yard with garden, laundry room,6
bathrooms ( never wait !), DSL, some storage and plenty of bike parking .

As a low income household we have a strict income cap. Individual
applicants must earn less than 32,050 gross annual income per year. The
income cap is higher for parents with dependents.

Move-in Costs: 1st month rent = $306.00 , Two months deposit = $612.00
$918.00 which gets paid to Northern Community Land Trust.  We collect
$135.00 for 1st month bulk& utilities and $200.00 Bulk deposit (can be
paid all at once or over a period of six months equaling $33.33/mo.)
After move-in rent is $306.00/month and food/utilities averages $135.00.

Responsibilities: include cooking a house dinner once every two weeks,
house meetings on 1st & 3rd Sundays of each month, sharing house chores
and house-ownership responsibilities.

We require a minimum of a year commitment (although we're looking for
folks who want to make a longer term commitment). Contact: send an email

Baker's Dozen co-op is a non profit, housing cooperative working in
collaboration with the San Francisco Community Land Trust.
