Another room has opened up in my wonderful apartment -- this time the master bedroom! Current roommate is moving in with this GF.

So we're seeking a 5th roommate to move into our beautiful, sunny (on all 4 sides!), top-floor 4.5 bedroom Victorian apartment in the heart of the Mission.

We're looking for an emotionally mature person who doesn't take themselves too seriously. Ideally, someone who is excited about Doing Stuff in or out of the house, contributing to making an awesome shared home, and who is conscientious and considerate. *All* will be considered, at the same time, we do prefer someone who doesn't identify as male (to help maintain the gender balance).

TIME-FRAME: Available 6/1/2020, and must be filled by 6/15/2020.

THE ROOM: The master bedroom and largest room in our apartment -- 200 sq ft and approx. 11x18ft dimensions -- with the best views as well! 10ft ceilings, three big sunny bay windows with amazing views of downtown skyline and Potrero hill (see pictures). Room also has a moderate-size closet. Note: room is unfurnished and everything in the pictures will be removed by current occupant.

LOCATION: SF / Mission District near 18th & South Van Ness. 8 minute walk to BART; 12 minute walk to Dolores Park; 4 minutes from Noisebridge. And good food is everywhere! This is a super great location.

RENT: $1700 + ~$100 utilities/household (monthly).

THE APARTMENT has great Victorian detail, rich hardwood floors, a beautiful modern eat-in kitchen (awesome gas stove and fancy fridge and newish dishwasher), and a lofted laundry room. Our living room and small private deck have views of Twin Peaks. We have a big luscious shared BACKYARD with fruit trees, a grill, and hang out space. In-unit laundry (gas), central heat. SO MUCH SUN!! Plus there is a full-size weighted keyboard in the living room and a bunch of other tools available for use (sewing machine, serger, soldering/electronics equipment, etc.), along with an elliptical trainer in the garage. And we have a fancy restaurant-grade automated espresso/coffee maker in the kitchen. :)

US: US: You'll be joining Ashley, Jonathan, Natasja, and Nicholas. We're a weird and eclectic bunch. Some of the things we are excited about are (in no particular order): learning new skills, making art, crafting, LEDs/lighting, robots/electronics, outdoorsy activities, health, braaaainz, SCIENCE!, dancing, yoga, music, and working on projects. Also, Ashley has a particular penchant for rainbows. :) We have weekly house dinners (and alternate between simple and a big cooking production).

PETS: Sorry, no furry pets. Smart, analytical weirdos are especially encouraged to apply. :)

COVID-19: We have been following shelter-in-place guidelines, have been wearing masks outdoors well before they became required, and regularly check in about shared expectations and developments. None of us, or anyone we have been in contact with recently, has tested positive for COVID-19 or been knowingly in contact with someone who tested positive.

We're still looking for someone to join our quirky household immediately. We have been able to drop rent from $1700 to $1475 after conversations with our landlord, so hopefully this makes the room more affordable to more of you! Please apply ASAP if you're interested or forward to people/groups of interest. 

Also, if you're able to move in immediately, rent is free till 6/15. (I know it's less than a week, but, hey, it's something?)
