Beautiful 3BR / 1Ba Apartment w/ Laundry, Sunny Living Room & Big Backyard by Lake Merritt
1 Bedroom ($1200 + ~$88 utilities) Month to Month lease available starting January 1st 2024 (with potentially flexibility to move in a bit sooner)!
We are looking for someone to fill the available room in our 3 bedroom apartment. The apartment is 2 blocks from the Morcom Rose Garden, 3 blocks from Safeway, and right by Lake Merritt and all the shops and delicious restaurants on Grand Ave and Piedmont Ave. The house has tons of outdoor space including a shared front and back porch and a front and back yard. We have beautiful, bright lighting, lots of storage, street parking and on-site laundry. The front yard has several citrus trees and the backyard has a huge redwood tree!
Apartment is furnished, the room is unfurnished. The room is 11x8x10 and has a large closet. Utilities responsibilities are: PG&E (varies $20-70/month) and wifi ($18/month), and the landlords cover all other utilities. No pets unfortunately.

Danielle/Yelly (she/they) 31 year old white polyamorous bisexual demigirl: I work as an outdoor educator teaching wilderness first aid for my company With The Wild Things. I enjoy hiking, writing, dancing, reading, climbing, cooking and good conversations.
Isabelle (she/her) white 30 year old: I am a writer, artist, and teacher. I’m a future garden fairy/witch. I love watching standup comedy and posting bitter memes about the publishing industry. BBC period dramas are my jam.
We're looking for someone kind, responsible and direct in communication to share this space. We share chores and are looking for someone who will contribute to keeping our home clean and beautiful. We enjoy hanging out together: visiting the rose garden, watching movies, sharing meals, going out for drinks, etc. We intentionally strive to create a home that is welcoming for folks of all backgrounds, ages, and identities. We look forward to building community and creating a caring space.
Accessibility: The house has about 20 steps to enter from the street. Though minimal, some scents are currently used in the house (ie cleaning products, detergent, etc). We are covid-19 conscious– we are vaccinated and typically mask in public indoor spaces whenever possible. Happy to chat more about accessibility!
