I might be still working at Datapoint if Asher Edelman had not taken
it over. When I was laid off, I bought a Commodore Amiga and tried to
start a diskette publishing company called Freedom Computing
Publications. This was before the internet (1986) and I thought there
was a market for monthly or even biweekly disks by mail to computer
owners. I mailed out a couple hundred of FCP HotDisk Volume 1 and 8
copies of volume 2 to those who responded to my initial mail out. Then
I gave up due to lack of funds. That is probably for the best since
the internet makes the idea of mailing disks obsolete. For more on
