to Longwave and Demographics
Wow, I just read the book by Edward Cheung. I am blown away by the
simplicity of the long waves and the cultural results. I have only one
complaint: It was not long enough! I am also interested in the
politics which resulted from the waves and their cycles off the waves;
also, a discussion of wars and international tensions would be
welcome. I understand there is a volume 2 in the future. I am
interested to see how foreign populations grew or contracted and how
that helped or hurt our own economy and political stability. Anyway,
this book helped me understand or put the popular psychology regarding
the sub-trend generations, e.g. Y's, into perspective. They made
little sense in the past. The book will be used as a reference by
scholars for many years in the future!
