trunk show. A trunk show is when a manufacturer is not able to attend a
show personally, but sends a booth with their product to be promoted, displayed,
demonstrated, offer a make-n-take and sold to the public. This gives the
manufacturer an idea of how strong their products are in demand as well as
offering products that would not otherwise be represented at the show.
Hands On Make-n-Take Tables *NEW for
2013*
Many of the Exhibitors will be hosting hands-on
make-n-take tables at the show. It is up to each exhibitor as to charge a
fee to cover material and labor costs...the average fee per make-n-take at the
STSY events is usually $1. An attached fee allows the make-n-takes to be a
bit more sophisticated allowing the use of more embellishments and quality
products. Additionally this event will be including several "fund raisers"
tables who are volunteering their time and products to support a local
organization. We don't know all that will be going on at each booth, but
here is a sampling of what we do know:
*FlowerSoft
*Copic Pen
Techniques
*Tombo Techniques
*Northwoods Floral Designs
*Elizbeth Craft
