to Longfellow Etree
Hi everyone,

It's our family's last year at Longfellow. After three years as
Longfellow's Etree Coordinator, I'd like to thank Longfellow's
teachers, staff, families and friends who've donated their time,
money, supplies and food for our events and classrooms over the
years.

Over the years, we've had a great turnout of volunteers and I hope
that will continue. I'd like to encourage current and new families to
volunteer for an event or task to support our school. You can help us
organize an event., setup or donate food and drink. There are so many
opportunities where you can help: A short list:

Safeway's Campaign (collecting receipts for $$$)
Providing food for Winter and Spring Concerts musicians eScrip
Staff Appreciation Celebration School Picnic
TGIF Greet and Meet
Grandparents and Guardians Day
EDP Performances
Career Day
8th Grade Dinner and Dance
8th Grade Celebration
School Emergency supplies
PTA

and my personal favorites

Longfellow's Science Fair and Open House
freecycle and securing items for classrooms (furniture, school
supplies, recreational equipment for EDP)

On another note, before the end of this school year, Longfellow's
Etree will be moving from Google Groups to a new environment.

A formal announcement will be generated via Etree. Until then, you
can continue sending postings to me directly at:

ayal...@yahoo.com

with the following information:

WHAT:
WHERE:
WHEN:
WHO:
HOW MUCH: (I will post events for the community that offer
scholarships or a very small fee)

Call me and leave me a message at 333.8958, if you have a time
sensitive posting.

So, thank you all very much for contributions, in all their forms!

All the best,

Marie Chun
Etree Coordinator
