This month’s theme is HIGHER EDUCATION!
TESTING:
Today is our last day of testing. Push hard!!! Do your best. This
is the final day. Today’s efforts count.
6th graders:
You only test from 9-10:52.
Then you get to go to 1st period before lunch and then 4 5 & 6 after
lunch
7th graders:
You test from 9-10:52 .
Then you have 2 and 3rd period, lunch and then 5th and 6th period.
8th graders:
You are testing today until 11:43.
Then you have 1st period and lunch.
Then 2nd and 3rd period.
And that’s it for your educational day.
During testing students should be monitored by an adult when they are
going to the restroom.
Also, if you are outside and students are still testing, you MUST be
quiet and stay away from the windows.
Lost harmonicas
The owner needs them back. If you have seen even one of the
harmonicas, please return them to room 1. The owner is very sad and
needs them to play. If you play a harmonica without the owner's
permission, something very bad could happen to your lips. So get the
harmonicas back to their owner.
LUNCH
Today’s lunch is burritos or chicken and garlic or tofu. Doesn't that
sound good? Did you know that beans and rice together are complete
protein. And tofu is also complete protein. So, two good choices for
you.
YOSEMITE:
Yosemite participants: Get ready! We're almost there. Plan to meet
in the theater right after school on Thursday to learn about your
hiking groups, last minute details and to get psyched up for the
trip!
Ask your English teacher to tell you about our special activity
planned for the last night of the trip.
See Ms. Patterson if you need a new packing list or if you misplaced
the paper with all the train information.
Be sure you are present for all CST days, or you will not be allowed
to go on the trip.
Go Yosemite Tigers!
WARM WEATHER
You can stay cool and look cute without wearing short shorts.
The school rule is that your fingertips must be shorter than where
your shorts are on your thighs. If you are in violation of this dress
code, any adult or student can write up the violation and get the
message to Ms. Warburton. Ms. Warburton is maintaining our list of
clothing violations and translating that into detentions. Do not risk
loosing out on the field trips and end of year activities. Save your
short shorts for the weekend. When you are at school, dress like a
scholar.
Good luck to Longfellow's track team at the Benecia track meet!
All softball uniforms should be turned in to Ms. Denise.
This a reminder for the boys' baseball team...please bring gold
jerseys for this Friday's game versus Montera.
