This month’s theme is HIGHER EDUCATION!
And what would education be without our teachers!!
So, today’s song is called Teachers Appreciation Song by Bahamian
Rap Artist Smurf
The chorus says “I’d like to thank all my teachers for the things
they’ve done…”
TESTING:
Today the 6th graders have testing until 10:34 and then periods 2, 3,
4 and 5
The 7th graders have testing until 10:34 and then have periods 3, 4,
5, and 6
8th graders test until 11:17 and then have 4th period before lunch and
5 and 6th after lunch.
I know it is hard to sit and focus for so long on your test.
But we are doing great!!
Keep on focusing.
Today is Wednesday.
Only today and tomorrow left to test.
Keep on doing your best.
During testing students should be monitored by an adult when they are
going to the restroom.
Also, if you are outside and students are still testing, you MUST be
quiet and stay away from the windows.
Raging Waters trip is full.
And Mr. Hinckley is requesting that no one use the word raging or
water in conversation with him.
But you can tell him thank you for helping organizing this fun field
trip.
LUNCH
Today’s lunch is spicy honey mustard drums or mac and cheese. Please
eat lunch. You have no idea how important good nutrition is for you.
We beg you!! Listen to what the farm and garden teachers have been
saying for all these years. Eat your lunch. With some fruit and
vegetables too.
YOSEMITE:
Yosemite participants: Get ready! We're almost there. Plan to meet
in the theater right after school on Thursday to learn about your
hiking groups, last minute details and to get psyched up for the
trip! Ask your English teacher to tell you about our special activity
planned for the last night of the trip. See Ms. Patterson if you need
a new packing list or if you misplaced the paper with all the train
information. Be sure you are present for all CST days, or you will
not be allowed to go on the trip. Go Yosemite Tigers!
7th & 8th grade will sign up for your incentive activities tomorrow
Wednesday, and 6th graders will sign up during 6th period on
Thursday. Activities include STAR testing party outside, and movie
and activities in the library, computer games, and sports on the yard.
SPORTS:
Good luck to the boys' baseball team who plays King @ 4 pm.
Today's baseball game is at San Pablo Park.
