Just found your Longevity tool and watched the Cassandra example video. I've been looking for a DB interface solution for Scala and Cassandra for weeks and am excited about the potential of Longevity. I'm especially impressed by the way you have focused on DDD and the flow between how solution domain objects are expressed in Scala and then artfully translated into DB structures. It took a very comprehensive perspective on the powerful functional capabilities of Scala along with the underlying persistence infrastructures to grok this out. I'm looking forward to experimenting with Longevity as part of a Akka project I'm working on. I'll get back to you with notes on my experience.
Thanks for your hard and smart work!    Cheers, Tom

Hi Tom,

Thank you so much for your praise and appreciation. It feels wonderful to get this kind of feedback. I'm not too humble to say that I share most of your thoughts on the project. 😊 But to hear it from another is so much more valuable.

You may have noticed that I haven't made any commits to the project for a few months. I sort of suspended my work on the project, mostly due to disinterest in the Scala community. (This is probably mostly my fault - outreach is not my strongest skill.) I don't foresee picking up work in the near future, as I'm currently working on an exciting data engineering project at Target.com, and they need me there full time. However, I'm more than happy to help users or commiters in any way I can. I care very much about longevity project, and it would please me greatly if it could pick up interest at this point. You seem like a very talented person, and you could own the project if you wanted to. 😎 Whatever I can do to help you, as a user or a commiter, just ask.

Best, John
