I'm trying to free up space on my Android. My internal storage shows that Pandora is taking up alot of space. When I go to the app I have the options of Clear Data and Clear Cache. What happens if I clear data? Do I lose all my playlists, stations, songs, etc?

Clearing the app will remove any old cached files. It will NOT remove playlists, songs, albums or station from your device, however, your offline content may be removed. In which case, you'll have to download any offline content you want to listen to, all over again.

Ummm. You didn' happen to mention the two MOST important things. At least to me. Thumbs up and bookmarks! If you clear App data will it wipe Thumbs and Bookmarks Please fix this app. All 10 of us old people who still use it are locked out with "timed out" message 3/20/2021!!

After reading other posts on how to load albums faster, I deleted my storage for the app as directed by the Pandora help account. On all the posts it ensured your music would not be deleted and yet it deleted all 7 years of my music. How do I fix this?

Pandora Premium and Premium Family listeners may need to re-download some of their offline content after clearing their app data. Pandora Plus users, however, should receive that offline content again automatically.

In the meantime, I'm going to escalate your issue to our User Support team so we can take a deeper look to see what's happening, and gather more information. I believe you may have another account under an older email address.

Please keep an eye out for our email shortly. If you don't see it soon, please check your spam / junk folder to make sure it didn't end up there.

Cached data is information stored from a website or app that makes reopening that website or app faster. Cached data reduces load times, but that data has to go somewhere, so it takes up some space on your device.

Clearing the data can help resolve issues when the Pandora app becomes buggy or you have trouble streaming. When you clear the app data using these steps, you won't lose your account / stations / thumb feedback / profile, etc. In my experience, if a listener has lost any stations after performing this action, it's typically because they have a second Pandora account which can cause some confusion.

When you say "clearing Pandora" this doesn't distinguish clearing CACHE vs clearing DATA. Generally clearing cache helps some issues, and while clearing data may help others that clearing cache can't, clearing data is known, typically, to wipe out important things, varying by the app. Can you clarify what will be lost by clearing data (not cache)?

Hi everyone. If I look at my iPhone storage, applications always seems to take up a large amount of data. For example Instagram is over 10 GB of data. What does this really mean? If I delete the app and re-install do I lose everyone I'm following? Will deleting the app and re-installing reduce the amount of data?

If you should see that "Other" is taking up a lot of the memory on your phone, that would mean that you have some corruption in the database. To resolve that, you would restore your phone from a backup.

Instagram is known for not handling its cache very well. The cache is data that's kept temporarily to increase the speed and responsiveness of the app. The app can pull data from the cache instead of downloading it again. But, data gets old and isn't needed anymore. It should eventually be flushed. But some apps are better written than others. And some apps are written by Facebook/Meta and you can be sure they will always be problematic.

It can be just logs, settings, cache data, Instagram is all photos so can be huge. If you uninstall Insta app nothing happens because it works online from the website. To see if you can unload some cache you can go to

The inventory full bug will increase in severity the more items are added to the game. The items: weapons (including Weaves weapons which are not shown in the inventory), necklaces, charms, trinkets, frames, skins, illusions, deeds, and stored loot boxes - all occupy the same limited storage space.

Just curious, could it be an impractical thing to increase inventory size? How much space does it actually take on severs and such? Is this actually a bug, or an intentional limit? What is the actual limit? Does it fluctuate depending on certain things?

From what I understand, max inventory is capped at 750, however it can theoretically go upwards to 1000, but that requires FS to do some wonky things on their end.
Never had an issue with the inventory cap, maybe email FS to have them delete deeds out of your inventory or get rid of the copious amount of weapons in your Stach.

Add the boiling water to your bowl and then gently drop each piece of silver in the bowl. Just let it sit, the chemical reaction does all the work for you. If you wish, you can flip them over (like burgers on a Q) with salad tongs, just to ensure that both sides get exposure to the tinfoil.

Take each piece out carefully, being sure not to burn yourself, and buff it gently with your polishing cloth. You should start to see all the tarnish come off and all the original glory of your silver come back!

My sterling silver jewelry as tarnished and black. I panicked. I found this tip and, as usual my skeptical self, doubted it would work. I was happily proven wrong! I watched my tarnished and black silver pieces turn back into shining silver pieces. I am a believer and I thank you for your advice.

The article is well organized. I see the writer has a true knack for
this topic. I like that theme, and I am in constant search of new pieces and the latest news.
I really enjoyed that one, because it is filled with
fascinating facts and it is a sort of article.
I spent just a few minutes reading, and due to well-structured
text, then I know it entirely. Thanks!

I have three chains I wear every time I leave the house, just not when I am in the house. They got so tarnished they looked like they were bronze not sterling silver. I looked on the internet & tried a couple of solutions but none got my chains looking better. I even tried ketchup but they were tarnished looking the next day. I had to do this remedy twice, because the chains were so dark & tarnished, but now my necklaces look like sterling silver again. I will use this remedy the next time I need to clean my necklaces.

Help! Have what seems to be Tiffany necklace (has the tag) that i bought at flea market so dirty didnt realize what it was. Have today used the foil baking soda and foil baking soda and salt methods also tried toothpaste and just plain baking soda paste. With lots of elbow grease also. Much improved but half a dozen beads have orangey looking areas that persist. Any ideas?

Thank you Moxi, I have extremely dry skin and I must apply lotion on my skin right after a shower and I wash my hands several times a day, so my question is, is there any way to prevent the damage that alchohol does to any type of Jewelry, especially silver? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. ????????

I accidentally cleaned my silver wedding rings, in a silver cleaner, and left them soaking overnight. I was horrified, when I took them out, and am afraid they are ruined! They now look dull and the silver is flat and almost white. HELP!!!

I clean my silverware by putting it in a shallow pan of water with a sheet of aluminum foil and a spoonful of baking soda. It takes only minutes on low heat to remove heavy tarnish even in detailed carving. I would be tempted to use this simple method on jewelry without stones

If it IS sterling silver, you might just have a lot of tarnish on it and need to repeat the process several times to get it all off. Follow the soak with buffing with a soft cloth to remove the last of the tarnish and restore the shine.

I just used this solution for my Pandora bracelets, necklace, ring and charms. they were in need of a good cleaning. And my poor bracelets were so tarnished. this solution had them looking new, again.

in addition, sea salt is white. morton salt sells it in fine grain, too. so what happens if i use white sea salt rather than iodized or not-iodized white salt from the baking aisle of the local grocery store? and this is important as a notice to anyone that uses sea salt as a flavor enhancer of food:

Tiffany and Co will Polish your jewelry anytime for free. And you can get it tumbled (makes it look new) for $15.
When I clean my Tiffany jewelry at home, I use this method and then go over it with the Tiffany & Co Silver polish. Works great

Platinum is not white gold. Platinum is atomic number 78 and gold is atomic number 79. Platinum is more dense than gold. They look alike but are different. You are right about the cost, platinum is more expensive than gold.

Just bought a very old silver locket that was nearly black with age and grime. Tried rubbing with baking soda on damp cotton wool. Could not BELIEVE how quickly it cleaned up. Gob well and truly smacked. Cheers Rose ?

If you substitute 1 teaspoon of liquid dish detergent (not dishwasher) for the vinegar you can clean your gold jewelry. I have used it for silver as well and it comes out beautifully. Its great to get the gunk out of your stones, do not use for opals and pearls though.

Do Not use this method very often it strips the silver plate off the pieces, so can end up with only bare metal, no silver. If you ask people who sell silver plate of silver they will tell you never ever use this method, since it will destroy the finish.

This cleaned my Tiffany necklace so well! I left out the vinegar and the salt as I heard this will ruin the protective layer around the necklace and that the salt will cause it to corrode over time. Despite not using them my necklace still turned out good as new! ? I will definitely be using this cleaning method again!
