Sportsfest!!!!!!!!!!

Sportsfest is coming up on April 1st-3rd!

For those of you who don't know what Sportfest is, it is the largest Pilipino sport event in the west coast. It’s like Friendship Games but with actual Sports. Pilipino Clubs from colleges all over the west coast come to compete in friendly competition!

You can play tennis, basketball, football, softball, bowling, and volleyball.

So far we have a team for Tennis, Basketball, and Softball! You can still make another team of any of these sports if you wish or try another sport!

It's not too late to sign up to make a team! (there will be a late fee)!! So turn in your applications to Kenneth Bautista ASAP! Also, to get more info on Sportsfest, feel free to contact our sports coord, Kenneth Bautista at csulbpac.s...@gmail.com or check out http://cppbarkada.org/, the official website of this event.

$$$PENNY WARS$$$

Now that we have all been placed in our families let's start our friendly KAPATIDS competitions!! And to starts us off we are bringing Penny Wars back! What is Penny Wars?

Well every family has a jar/tin that pretty much acts like a piggy bank. You insert coins or dollars as you please. Your Family gains points for every Penny successfully accumulate into your bank. But other Family's can easily sabotage your bank by adding dollars or silver coins into your bank. Those count as negative points that are equivalent to the value of the coin/dollar. And this goes through the whole semester (even during PCN). We will count everything in the end and see which family got the most points! So start saving up them coins everyone!!

Long story short

Penny= plus one point

Silver coin= minus value of coin/dollar in points (i.e Nickel -5, Quarter -25, Dollar -100)

!!Hoops for Hope!!

PAC is holding it's 2nd Hoops for Hope Basketball Competition again this year!
What is Hoops for Hope?? Well it's a friendly competition we put together in hopes of raising money for charity!!
Anyone can register a team to compete in this Basketball Tournament for a small fee (TBD)!
Winners of the Basketball Tournament win a cash prize and a check to be sent to a charity of the teams choice.
Hoops for Hope is schedule for April 16th, so come make a difference and sign your team up ASAP!!
More details to come as the date comes closer! For more information feel free to contact our Sports Coord, Kenneth Bautista, at csulbpac.s...@gmail.com!!

This is one of those events you don't want to miss. It's just a bunch of us, in one house, for the weekend. It's a small get away where we all just chill, hang out, maybe go swimming, and bond.
